I have always been a photographer. It’s in my soul.

 

In 1988 I started my business here in Richmond, Virginia and 20 years later it is more successful than I ever could have imagined.

 

My passion is photographing children and their families.  I have always been known for my black and white art. To me, it is the most satisfying art form, combining visual form and elegance with the emotional appeal and beauty of my clients' children.  My home is decorated with fine portraiture of my three children and I can’t think of a better decorative focal home than art combining beauty and love.

Master of Photography, 2001

            I am one of only 2 female and 7 Masters total in the Greater Richmond Area.

One becomes a Master Photographer through the Professional Photographers of America by demonstrating excellence in photography by earning the highest awards in national competitions and by giving back to the profession by teaching the craft to other professional photographers nation wide.

 

Fellow of Photography, 2002

This is a designation awarded by the Virginia Professional Photographers Association for excellence in image making and for providing instruction to other photographers through educational seminars.
