The first step of your portrait experience is a complimentary, no obligation, design session. Come and chat with me, and visit our portrait studio. We will have coffee in our luxurious and comfortable presentation room and view a slide show of my work; meanwhile your child may play or watch a DVD in our playroom. I’d love to hear about what is important to you. Creating the quality of portraits that I am known for takes understanding my client’s needs and planning. We’ll talk about your home décor, and decide on clothing and location. I’ll show you samples, and you’ll get a feel for portrait sizes and framing options. I’ll answer all of your questions. The best portraits begin with a plan.

You may choose a studio photography session, we can go on location, or we can use my studio gardens. I am one of the few photographers in the area to have her own on-site gardens. My photography garden features include a sand dune with tall beach grass, a rock and flower berm, a woodlands path, a pergola with swing, a cottage flower garden, a wildflower patch, and a picket fence. More is added each summer.
During the session I will gently guide your child through play and fun into the looks that I want to create. I have an artist’s eye and the ability to sense the perfect moment just before the split-second that it happens. I take as many photographs as I feel are needed to tell your story. I never limit you to a set number. You will usually choose from between 30 and 80 images at your selection appointment.
